Rolli for Mayor Campaign Announces Key Endorsement
Welcomes Education and Business Leader to Team
NASHVILLE – As the campaign continues to resonate with voters across Nashville, the Alice Rolli for Mayor campaign today announced a key endorsement. Former MNPS School Board Member, parent advocate, and mayoral candidate Fran Bush is joining the Alice Rolli for Mayor team.
“When I think about the Nashville we want to be, I think about citizens like Fran Bush who have been a light for all of us,” said Alice Rolli. “Fran is a business owner, community leader, education leader, and mom. She’s fought for a stronger Nashville for Nashville families and I’m honored to have her support. Her endorsement of our campaign isn’t just about endorsing me for mayor. It’s about her belief that the voices of Nashville’s parents and kids need a seat at the table to get Nashville back on the right track.”
Said Fran Bush: “I’m proud to endorse Alice Rolli for Mayor. Alice and I share a great deal in our concerns for the safety of our children and the need for SROs in every MNPS school. We believe in the power of early literacy to change educational outcomes. We want to support parents in making the best choice for their children’s education. Alice’s inclusive style of leadership is what we need to bring to the Mayor’s office to ensure our city is strong in all neighborhoods and to build an improved foundation for our families and for our future.”
About Fran Bush:
Fran Bush is a former member of the MNPS School Board. She is a Nashville native and graduate of MNPS schools and the Tennessee State University. She is the Owner and Director of Model Kids Learning Academy and two satellite campuses where quality childcare services are provided for our neediest families and for our growing community. Fran is a woman of faith and the mom of 5 sons who are all MNPS graduates, with the youngest a current Senior at Hillsboro High School. She and her husband Wayne have been married for 30 years.
About Alice Rolli:
Alice Rolli is a Nashville native, MNPS graduate, mother, educator, business leader and former Tennessee State Economic Development official for Gov. Bill Haslam. She is running to serve as the Metro Nashville-Davidson County Government’s 10th Mayor to ensure our city will prosper through reducing crime, improving education outcomes for all kids, and responsibly managing our finances.
